For shopping centres & retail
The doors trade every hour you do.
A centre entrance never fails quietly. It fails during trading, in front of customers, and you can't close early to fix it.
A brand of FAAC Technologies
Centre entrances take a duty cycle almost nothing else in the country matches. A busy mall door can accumulate more cycles in a week than an office entrance sees in a year, and it does it in bursts — everyone arriving at opening, everyone leaving at close, and a long Saturday in between. Doors specified on average traffic fail on the days that matter.
The other thing centres inherit is variety. Every fitout, every anchor tenant, every refurbishment leaves behind a different brand of operator, and after twenty years a centre is running a mixed population that no single manufacturer wants to touch. We service every brand, which means one contractor for the whole site rather than four who each disown the others' equipment.
Work also has to happen when the centre isn't trading. That's a scheduling problem more than a technical one, and it's the part that most often goes wrong — so we plan service windows against your trading hours rather than ours.
Then there's compliance across the whole population. Every powered entrance on the site sits on the building's compliance schedule, and the Building Warrant of Fitness depends on all of them, not the ones anyone remembered.
What matters to you
- Built for the busiest Saturday
- Operators specified against peak burst throughput rather than average daily use, so entrances survive trading days instead of just surviving.
- Every brand serviced
- One contractor across a mixed door population, whatever was installed by whichever fitout — no equipment we won't touch.
- Work outside trading hours
- Service and repair windows planned around when the centre is open, so maintenance never becomes a customer-facing event.
- Compliance across every entrance
- The full powered-door population tracked against the compliance schedule, so the BWoF isn't held up by the one door nobody listed.
